Our Zapier integration lets you:
- Create, find and update contacts
- Send events to trigger cocoonmail
- Send transactional email
Creating a new Zap
To create a new Zap, say to connect Typeform and Cocoonmail, you’ll first need to follow the authorization instructions below. Then you’ll head over to the “create a zap” page and make sure you’re adding “Cocoonmail” as an “Action”.
In this case we’d want to make Typeform the Trigger and Cocoonmail the Action, which would send new Typeform submissions directly into Cocoonmail!
Authentication
Create or copy an API key from your API settings page.
Contacts
Add
The Zapier integration supports creating a contact in your Cocoonmail audience with the following fields:
Only Email is required. The Source defaults to “Zapier” but you can update this to whatever value you like.
Update
The Zapier integration supports updating a contact in your Cocoonmail audience with the following fields:
Only Email is required.
Find
The Zapier integration supports searching your contact list for a specified email address. You also have the option to create a new user if one is not found.
Events
Send
The Zapier integration supports sending an event in Cocoonmail with the following fields
Email and Event Name are both required.
